Quality, environmental protection and industrial safety policy (QEI policy)
Saarstahl AG is aware of its responsibility as regards the vested interests of customers, employees, works council and those in adjacent buildings. It knows that priority is to be given to satisfying the interests of these groups, as well as to meeting contractual and legal requirements.

The QEI policy is passed on to the individual employees by the heads of the operating units and departments (BEs / ZBs).

Continuous improvement
Saarstahl AG strives to guarantee continuous improvement of its products / processes at all levels by pursuing a zero-defect strategy. It endeavours to adopt preventive measures to avoid or minimize any environmental effects and any risks for the safety and health of its employees. These measures must reflect the latest insights of technology, occupational medicine and hygiene and other established results of ergonomic science. The goal of constant improvement has high priority.

An important part of Saarstahl AG corporate policy is providing for emergencies and hazardous incidents, and minimizing the effects of such on its own employees, those from other companies and people in the vicinity.

QEI goals are determined for all areas of activity and all levels. These goals contain measurable values that are constantly and continuously assessed. All employees are informed in full about the QEI goals and company results.

There is a regular assessment of suppliers within the field of QEI.

Taking account of the best available technology, occupational medicine and hygiene, as well as other well-grounded findings in the field of ergonomic analysis.
